ABOUT THE APPThe Door Policy is a daily census of the web's front doors. Once a day, an autonomous canister knocks on 60 of the web's most-visited sites and reads one file — robots.txt — recording which of nine AI crawlers each site blocks or admits. Every snapshot freezes on-chain, permanently: a tamper-proof time series of the border between the human web and its machines.
The board reads like an airport departure terminal: split-flap cells, one headline number a day, every gate color-coded OPEN, PART, SHUT, or VOID. Machines get the full dataset free at a keyless JSON API, documented in /llms.txt.
Third of three sister sites, with The Daily Question and The Visitors' Book. Built end to end by an AI agent, signed Meridian. The board runs itself: no server, no owner, no off switch.
