ABOUT THE APPDecentOS is a browser-based desktop operating system built for users who want their work to run directly in the browser. It’s designed for people using the Internet Computer and Internet Identity, especially those who prefer cryptographic login and on-chain storage.
It includes a desktop with a dock and menubar, a Spotlight-style search, and a window manager. It also comes with 90+ apps such as Notes, Calendar, a code editor, file management, and a password manager. Your files, notes, credentials, and preferences are stored with persistent on-chain storage.
Timer-based apps (Pomodoro and Study Timer) can keep running even when app windows are closed, and apps restore your session state so you can continue where you left off.
