ABOUT THE APPNumBuddy is a web app built to help learners of all ages -- especially those with dyscalculia -- build confidence with everyday math skills. It offers nine short, low-pressure modules covering number sense, arithmetic, money, time, counting and sequences, number lines, estimation, and step-by-step sequencing, plus a dedicated Breathe & Grow space for managing math anxiety. Every session includes an anxiety check-in, effort-based encouragement, and warm (never punitive) feedback. A built-in self-assessment maps skill areas and recommends where to start, while adjustable difficulty levels and a full progress history let learners move at their own pace. The app is optimized for iPad and designed with emotional safety and accessibility at its core.
